It does add to the cost as its an additional process, stainless is more expensive and more difficult to weld than mild steel BUT the long term result and durability is improved. The black powder coated finish has a nice leather grain effect that is hard to describe but looks superior to the regular smooth finish and is more durable.
Note: If your vehicle has front facing parking sensors you will require the radar absorbent stickers (see options) to make this bar compatible. If your vehicle has the Driver Assistance pack fitted with the auto braking radar system this bar will not be suitable for your vehicle.
