- Simply clean and dry the bonnet
- Degrease only the 3M tape contact area with alcoholic wipe or brake cleaner
- Test fit prior to removing the 3M backing tape and mark its location with dots of masking tape
- Remove the 3M backing tape, re-position and press down firmly.
- Rub the outer edges to ensure good consistant adhesion has occurred.
- If the outside ambient temperature is below 15% degrees warm the bonnet and the scoop with a hair dryer / heat gun gently just prior to installation. This promotes improved adhesion.
